15 years as a customer only for them to “freeze” my account out of the blue, disabling any new bets nor me being able to withdraw my money. Zero chance of speaking with customer service on the phone. Absolutely the worst customer service

Cheats, they had live scores against the wrong teams (did not know this until they refused to pay) when I pointed this out to the dreadful non Uk customer service they said tough, our scores can be wrong on live sport so go away….. unreal….. closing account and going to sky bet

What a dreadful experience! I have had a Betfair account since 2016 at no point upon opening or since then have they ever blocked my account or treated me the way that they have recently after I won £1000. I have been passed around from pillar to post to middle eastern chat centres to people who can’t understand a word of English! The issue arose after I tried to cash out the winnings and a message popped up telling me that I couldn’t cash out until I had deposited £260 of that £1.000 into the original card that I had a used! I contacted Betfair & explained that I could not use that original card because I no longer banked with the bank that issued that card. After being told to wait for 10 minutes (an hour later on hold, ) I was informed that the card that I no longer have access to, had been removed & I could now cash out! I attempted log in & to cash out and my account had been blocked! 3 days later it is still not resolved & everyone I try to chat with cuts the chat off after making me wait 20 mins with no response, and I’m back chatting to someone in a Middle Eastern country! I’ve convinced they are doing this so that I will become so frustrated il give in!

Dreadful experience. Account locked after winning a mere £9 on the grand national. Asked to upload various documents that I have done repeatedly and still locked. Tried to resolve through chat and nothing…. appalling appalling.

Absolute shambles of a show. Had an account for several years…. Inactive though. When prompted when joining that I already had account, managed to sign in….. however changed name (divorce) and address since whenever I joined. Oh the rigmarole trying to get out small winnings(30 deposit, £50 winnings) after the grand National….. appalling service with some foreign chat centre…. Painful. For no reason the customer service was really rude. I just had a general question about deposit limits and I guess due to language barrier (the offer swedish support but the support answer in english) I didn't get a clear answer to my question. After the support agent said that she will ignore me in the future and also told that she would instruct the chat operators to ignore me. Not a big deal really but very very surprising.
