I am 60 now and have had an active account with Betfair since I was in my 40s. However the last few days have been a very frustrating experience. It all started when I tried to register a new card to my payments method. Due to mastercard credit card regulations this card was unfortunately declined. However it didn't end there. In their infinite wisdom Betfair deemed it necessary to also suspend my account. In order to regain access to it I had to completely go through the WHOLE verification process again by uploading a load of 'necessary' documentation. After 20 years you'd think there would be an element of mutual trust and common sense in play here. I have also been informed that I can no longer email or phone customer services with any issue no matter how urgent. For anyone who knows how annoying the Help Bots can be this was very irritationg to hear. Two days later and my account is still inactive. I am never logging onto the Betfair site again. Very disappointing..

I have been a betfair customer since they started 24 years ago. I have recently had my account limited to 300 a month with no explanation and no way of having this lifted. They tell me its the company which has done this and thetes nothing i can do. Has anyone else had this problem?

Found them to be unable to accept when in wrong and no idea of how to handle the public in disputes. They would rather a client shut their account than try to actually resolve the problem obviously do not care about client goodwill would never use this company or associated companies again

If I could give 0 I would, restricted my account after my first and only bet that barely made £60, which initially was a loss and decision was overturned, they then hide behind their help and support with no way of contacting the people who actually make the decisions steer clear of betfair they are a joke only allowed to gamble when you're losing it seems

Another scamming casino business who take all your money and give nothing back in return, all games are rigged and controlled behind the scenes, just like there partners paddy Power, once you start to chase your loses back they take advantage and take even more giving you no chance at all, so stay well clear of these theifs and never chase your loses

No problem with the company they have some good promotions, but they have updated the app and it’s terrible its slow and confusing its like walking through treacle using it absolute nightmare if their offers change i think i will move on to a company who's app is more user friendly, the last app was easy to use and place a bet

I now believe Betfair are making it extremely difficult for you to withdraw winnings. I had to basically force them to pay me my winnings. It was disgraceful. The App I have now deleted and good riddance to a bad lot.

Absolute scam company, won £60 and wanted loads of documentation to prove its me, however didn't ask for it when taking my money... I shown all relevant documentation and they constantly make excuses to not pay out. They asked for proof of address and a bank statement.. I shown both in 1 photo.. my business statements, yet they still don't want to pay! Lmao. Avoid this fishy site. Absolute scammers.
