This company has the most unclear promotions that make no sense and when you pay by card via Apple Pay they claim it’s not by card it’s by an e-wallet (never heard of this phrase ever) so the promotion is not valid You then try and speak to someone and they just close the conversation. It started well enough. I joined Paddy Power after being enticed by the £40 in free bets offer. So I placed my bet in compliance with their terms and conditions and being lucky this time won to the tune of about £30. Then a few days later the problems began. I received an e-mail telling me my account had been temporarily suspended. Documents were requested, nothing too complex proof of ID, address and funds. So I sent them off expecting that to be the end of the matter. It was not so. I contacted Paddy using the IM as I wanted to withdraw the princely sum I had won. I was told that that now wanted a much more detailed list of items, pictures of me holding various documents etc. Apparently they raised these additional requirements in an e-mail which I disputed. To end the message I said I'd like the new requirements confirmed in an e-mail and that I'd be updating with the additional documents as requested. A couple of days later Paddy e-mailed me saying that my account had been closed on "Business Grounds". I feel they have stolen my money and I can see no way to access my account to submit a formal complaint. I have effectively been silenced. Paddy Power please provide me with your complaint procedure and an e-mail contact to your complaints department.

My experience with paddy power has been good. Decent site, good offers and a funny social media site. Much better than someone like Kwiff

I am writing this as I have had such a bad experience with BetUK who are crooks, Headed up by Paul Dixon MD of LeoVegasThey get people to give 5 star reviews on this site to counter the negativity they get. So I popped over to paddy here to see what people say about them. As why would you give a bookie 5 stars for just settling your bet! I was amazed to see such negativity here as Paddy pays out before cleared fund from my bet had left my bank. Top company and I now only appreciate just how good they are because of the shocking experience with BetUK

Just robbed me out right! I put a 20 pound bet on and they suspended my account and removed the cash out feature which was working before this. Demanded document photo I'd which I explained I don't have at the moment as with moving house lost it and can't afford another passport yet asked for my deposited 20 pound back and they refused outright until they have the documents which they know I don't have! It's theft clear and simple!
