I've been a customer of Betfair for approx 10 years, can't complain much about the site or the amount of events available. Recently decided to set a limit on my account... Firstly started with a loss limit, seems a good start but then quickly realised that the daily loss limit includes anti post/future bets. So once placed those bets stand as a daily loss for each day until settled. So for instance if I place my limit in one go for an event in two weeks time I can not then place another bet. A good way for Betfair to deter problem gamblers I suspect. So I thought I'd set up a daily deposit limit, seems more my thing.... £40 a day I thought, that will stop me chasing winnings... I deposit the amount and withdraw £90 at the end of the day quite happy with myself, the next day though I try to deposit £20 and told I've already reached my limit?.. hmmmmm turns out it's not a daily limit after all, but a 24 hour limit.. so as I deposited my cash last night to watch the darts at 7pm.. I now can't deposit again till 7pm so today I can't put my feet up and place a bet on the racing on my day off as planned.... Not till 7pm. Now yes some may think it's doing its job, but others will see it as another deterrent of setting limits. Something Betfair I presume are wanting no one to do. Other companies offer the daily limits that run from midnight to midnight.... For this reason and this reason alone, for those of us who wish to limit gambling to fun I'm rating Betfair a 1star....

This has to be the worst online casino I have ver played on. I have put on in the last few months over a grand and I have won absolutely nothing and this is on low stakes. I can't believe a site like this is actually in business and the customer service is dreadful. Awful company. I've been with them over 10 years and they've completely ******* me over. Started asking for source of funds. I provided all documents and answered all questions yet my account remains suspended. They actually suspended my account whilst I had an in play bet on and without any warning.

I have an account with betfair for a number of years Recently I had a large amount of money removed from my betfair account. Betfair said I placed the bet on a horse and the bet lost. I am 100 % sure I had no bet at the races they say I backed the horse. No-one has access to my account except me. I closed my account. I always like to spend time and reflect honestly with our overall experience. This has left a very sour taste with Betfair. Over a 3 week period playing slots we just couldn’t hit anything on various deposits totalling 5k at no point even £1 up at any stage. Today they limited the account to £100 deposit which is a kick in the. Betfair is not so fair it seems. Every time I have “won” a bet on this company they find a way to bend the rules of the bet. They don’t state clearly the rules of the bet so they mislead you to think you win and explain how you haven’t won by making up rules that aren’t stated anywhere on the betting slip. It makes it impossible for you to cash your winnings without contacting customer service and then they come up with BS excuses. I have closed my account with this company they are shocking. And should be investigated for conning people. Avoid at all cost
