Like many others I have been a customer for over 20 years and all of a sudden they just closed my account and said it was a trading decision. Like most gamblers I lose overall year on year but this year I had a good run recently on the itv races on a Saturday. Winning a few grand over the course of 6 weeks or so and they decided to close my account. Shameful really, the so called biggest betting company in the world. I’ve been told bet 365 now have a policy if you make 3 withdrawals in quick succession of over £250 your account gets flagged up and your account gets closed. don’t know if that’s true or not but my account and what happened to me fits the criteria for closure of its true. To echo what I have read and would like to add to: this company and their customer service department are abhorrent. I not them, increased my betting because of a big win on another site. They implemented restrictions on my account and then became intrusive asking about my finances, work etc. Why didn't they ask this at the beginning? I was called by one of their Gamble Responsible advisors who assured me these blocks would be removed and now I would have a cap/net deposit amount for my own safety. I visited the webchat as the block was still on my account and I couldn't deposit. Three webchats is what it took and these were with rude morons.... not just morons. I have kept my account open more so now for insight into the behaviour of this company but ensure you ask for transcripts. When opening a new account set out your stall with them. Very deceitful company, I feel sorry for the employees - locked my account initially for having bet a large amount/winning a large amount and I was required to go through a questionaire - went through it. 1 month later my account was locked again, place a few bets and make some large winnings. Called and they advised that my email address has changed on my account, log into my account and the email address is the same... I also use an encrypted password at 128bit with no external access. The company has obviously locked my account with falsified information to stop my winnings. Use Sportsbet, this doesn't happen there. August 20, 2021
