The official social media account of Inter Miami announced the recognition of the team's Argentine forward, Lionel Messi, as the best player in MLS for April. During the past month, the striker scored six goals and provided three assists in four regular season matches.
Messi joined the American team in the summer of 2023, signing a contract until mid-2025. The Ballon d'Or winner earns €19.2 million annually at the club. In late March, Transfermarkt decreased his market value to €30 million.
It was previously reported that the striker had over 1200 goal involvements in his career.
