Austria national team head coach Ralf Rangnick confirmed that he has no plans to leave his post for a possible job at Bayern Munich.
Austrian Football Federation quotes the specialist as saying:
I want to clearly stress that this is not a rejection of Bayern Munich but rather a decision for my team and our common goals. Our full focus is on the Euros. We will do everything we can to get as far as possible there.
Under the leadership of Rangnick, the Austrian national team qualified for Euro 2024.
Earlier there was information about the possible appointment of Rangnick as head coach of Bayern. At the same time, the fans of the Munich team wrote a petition in favor of letting Thomas Tuchel remain in office as the head of their club.
