UFC CEO Dana White has refuted claims made by former two-division champion Jon Jones that he retired back in November of last year, but he would have fought Tom Aspinall if the deal had been sealed.
Earlier, White stated that a fight between Jones and Tom Aspinall was agreed upon, but then Jones changed his mind. On June 22, the UFC head confirmed that Jones had indeed announced his retirement.
