On April 30, the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) held a meeting during which it was decided to withhold five thousand dollars from the fee of Brazilian UFC lightweight Diego Lopes.
Recall that at the UFC 300 tournament, Lopes jumped over the octagon fence after his victory over Sodiq Yusuff.
In total, the Brazilian fighter received $100,000 for his performance in the milestone tournament. The case will be further reviewed at the May meeting.
On April 14 in Las Vegas, Lopez achieved a technical knockout victory in the first round over Yusuff. He has 24 wins and six losses to his name.
