Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov of the French club PSG ended up with a bruise under his eye while celebrating the Champions League final victory over Inter Milan.

The match took place on Saturday, May 31, and ended with a score of 5-0. Safonov sat on the bench for the entire game.

This victory marks PSG's first-ever Champions League title. Safonov joined the Parisian club in the summer of 2024. He has played 17 matches across all competitions for PSG, conceding 13 goals.
