Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola believes that the England national team is capable of winning the 2024 European Championship to be held in Germany.
Guardiola told The Telegraph:
The national team? Really good. But it's not just the talent of the strikers, it's the whole package, the whole group. Gareth knows perfectly what he has to do. I have the feeling, everyone has the feeling, that the England national team, in the last events, the World Cup and European Championships, they made steps. They are on the verge, they are really close.
Recall, the tournament will be held from June 14 to July 14, 24 teams will participate. In Group C England will play Denmark, Serbia and Slovenia.
Earlier, the England national team presented sets of uniforms for Euro-2024, and also topped the list of the most expensive lineups among national teams according to Transfermarkt.
