Thus, she earned a humungous 43-27 service points. In the first round, she took on veteran Donna Vekic and won 7-5, 6-3. In both games, her first serve percentage exceeded 70.

Veronika is at the peak of her game and has had a decorated year thus far. Her peak occurred after reaching the Third Round of the Australian Open earlier this year and then during the French Open, she made her best-ever Grand Slam run while reaching the Quarter-Finals. Dalma Galfi

Dalma has also been impressive thus far. She defeated Harriet Dart in the Second Round 6-4, 6-0 after Dart had made it to the Round after beating Darya Kasatkina. In that game, she had a highly impressive first serve percentage of 77 and went on to win 83% on first serve, winning seven games in a row to seal the deal. Galfi defeated Nuria Parrizas-Diaz in the first round.

This has been the best year of her career for Dalma who peaked at 85th rank in June 2022. This has also been the only year where Dalma has made it to the Main Round in three straight Grand Slams. She was out in the second round of Wimbledon and the current third-round appearance is the best ever Dalma performance already in the Grand Slam. Can she carry her dream forward?
