In the first round, he beat Jiri Lehecka 7:6, 6:3 in another incredible effort.

Nick had reached as high as 13th rank in 2016 but has slipped to 77 as of now. Known for a strong second serve, Kyrgios is known as one of the most aggressive players. Marton Fuscovics shut down the third-seeded Polish talent Hubert Hurcakz 7:5, 6:7, 7:3 in what was one of the most grueling battles of the tournament. This is not the only battle that was close. In the first round too, he had a three-round battle against Jurij Radionov, winning 6:7, 6:3 , 6:4. In both games, he has shown tremendous stamina.

Marton has a strong physique and is also known as the “Ironman of Tennis”. Marton’s highest ranking has been 31, which was in 2019 but since then he is mostly lingering in the 40s. He is 30 years old right now so his dream to become a top-ten player is rather diminishing.
