The WTA Adelaide tournament draws to a halt with the final game of the tournament featuring the two most in-form players of the tournament. Jelena Ostapenko and Daria Kasatkina have been the standout performers throughout the competition and they now have a chance to battle for the trophy in this final match.
Jelena Ostapenko saw off a challenge from Ekaterina Alexandrova in the semifinals to book her place in the final round, while Daria Kasatkina got a free pass into the final after Jessica Pegula conceded defeat in the semifinal.
Jelena Ostapenko and Daria Kasatkina are two players who are familiar with each other’s game after their 7 meetings in the past. Jelena has recorded more wins than Daria Kasatkina in their 7 meetings and she hopes to extend that run, while Daria hopes to pull one more win than she already has over a familiar opponent.

Analysis and Predictions
Both players have been fantastic throughout the competition and there is a good feeling that neither of the two players will disappoint in the final showdown match. Jelena Ostpaneko remains favorite to win the game for obvious reasons. She is a more experienced player than Daria and that plays a huge role on the big stage. However, Daria’s route to the final has not gone unnoticed. If she ends up with the title, it would be one of the most undeserved victories in the game.
