The WTA Finals have lived up to the hype and it is a shame that the tournament hasn’t drawn the crowd it deserves. The Ons Jabeur and Aryna Sabalenka battle was as close as it gets and Maria Sakkari and Jessica Pegula engaged in a tense tussle too. Iga Swiatek went as expected. Here Iga Swiatek will take on Caroline Garcia in another Group Stage game. Hope there is more crowd!

Iga started in an electric fashion and gave Daria Kasatkina no chance as she won 6-2, 6-3. Swiatek’s power hitting was in peak form as it has been throughout the year and she managed an impressive 72%, hitting 82% winners on the first serve. She had a decisive 39-27 service points advantage and broke Daya’s serves repeatedly, nabbing a 26-14 receiving points edge. Iga has continued to dominate opponents like that throughout the season and there is just no answer for her incredible service game. Will she continue to plunge the games in two sets?
Caroline Garcia
Garcia enjoyed a great win against Cori Gauff, winning 6-4, 6-3 to start the campaign. Garcia did a great job in terms of servicing the ball and earned a 77% win on the first serve, eking out a 41-31 service points advantage. She also did a great job in terms of her return game, earning a 26-20 receiving points advantage. Garcia won eight out of 13 service games to dominate the proceedings. Garcia has reinvented her game after falling out of the limelight for the last few years and it seems like she still has a deep run left in him. Can Garcia put up a big fight here again?
Iga Swiatek vs Caroline Garcia Head-to-Head
Swiatek and Garcia have met only once and in that sole meeting during Cincinnati Masters in 2019, Swiatek won in two sets.
Expert Betting Tips
Iga has had no answer for her so far this year and her amazing record speaks for itself. Garcia is an experienced campaigner and can pose threat to Iga considering she has a powerful forehand like Swiatek. Both players are aggressive in their approach and rather than depending on variety, like to finish the business quickly. Even if Swiatek has been dominating the scene and comes in as a favorite, I believe Garcia will keep her nerves again. I see a back-and-forth tussle and although the needle swings in the way of Swiatek, I see Garcia forcing a third set.
