The tennis scene changes so quickly and we have so many tournaments that it is difficult to keep a track of them. The WTA scene is already too fuzzy but these days some superstars have etched their names in the Finals at a consistent level. Two of these heavyweights Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek are going to meet here.

Aryna comes into the game after defeating Anastasia Potapova 6-1, 6-2 in another lop-sided for the attacking Belarusian legend. Sabalenka had a superior 65-55% advantage on first serve and had a 36-19 service points advantage. In terms of receiving points, she had a 23-15 advantage. This was a much easier win than the one again Paula Badosa in the Quarter-Final, a battle that reached the third set. Saba has been on fire this year, she won the Australian Open and lost a thrilling final to Elena Rybakina in the highly coveted Indian Wells Master and here she is, in the finals again.
Iga Swiatek
Iga enters the match after a walkover win against Tunisian heavyweight Ons Jabeur. Swiatek has had another winning year but she has also been losing late in the tournament. During his last appearance in the Indian Wells Masters, she lost in the fourth round to Elena Rybakina. In the Dubai Tennis Championships, she made it to the Final but lost to Barbora Krejcikova. She did win the Qatar Open title by beating Jessica Pegula. She had lost to Elena Rybakina in the fourth round of the Australian Open and the Kazakh has now beaten the world number one twice in Fourth Round games.
Aryna Sabalenka vs Iga Swiatek head-to-head
Iga and Aryna have met six times and Swiatek has won four times. However, when these two last met during the 2022 WTA Finals, the subsequent champion Saba won in three sets.
Expert Betting Tips
These two players don’t give an inch to anybody and are both aggressive in approach. Swiatek may lead the h2h but Aryna has improved by leaps and bounds, making adjustments, especially in terms of limiting her faults. It will be interesting to see who wins, I see a three-set battle brewing here.
