In the Rome Masters final, world number seven Holger Rune and world number three Daniil Medvedev will meet. They have only played each other once this season on the court in Monte Carlo, and that match was won in two sets by the Danish tennis player, who is quoted as the slight favourite in the pair.

A somewhat unexpected pair of finalists, after winning in three sets over Novak Djokovic, the Dane knocked out Casper Ruud, the Norwegian tennis player. The match lasted two hours and 43 minutes; Rune won 6-7, 6-4, 6-2. Before beating Djokovic and Ruud, Rune was stronger than Fils, Fognini and Popyrin.

Daniil certainly surprised us in Rome by reaching the final. And the clay surface is the most disliked by the Russian, but things change. So, in the semi-finals, Daniil played against Tsitsipas, whom he had lost twice in a row before and lost his last match on clay. The fight against the Greek lasted an hour and 47 minutes; Medvedev won it 7-5, 7-5. The match was suspended due to rain, so it was long.

Medvedev and Rune played each other once in the Monte Carlo tournament, winning 6-3, 6-4 in two sets in the quarter-final.
Expert Betting Tips
Rune had a tougher set than Medvedev, knocking out Djokovic and Ruud, while Daniil's rivals were Tsitsipas and Zverev, who is unlike his previous rivals after injury. Not an easy match to bet on, and for sure, it will be a long one, as both tennis players are in good athletic form. As for the outcome, we're going to side with the Dane. We believe that Holger will repeat the success of Monte Carlo and beat the Russian, though this time, in three sets.
