The ATP scene is a highly competitive one and each week we witness a high-profile tournament. There is no shortage of high-quality battles as we witness the top of the world take on each other without a big pause. In another top-quality showdown, Holger rune takes on Alex de Minaur.

Holger comes into the match after affecting a Walkover win over Matteo Berretini. Holger had won the first set 6-0 and took a game in the second set before Matteo walked out, meaning he didn’t even concede a single game till that point. Before the walkover, Rune had a 16-5 service points edge and a 12-2 receiving points advantage. Rune has become a player of high stature and he is just 19. While he has not put on many deep runs, he has become a strong player against competition that is ranked outside of the top 30. It is only a matter of time before Rune grabs an ATP title if not a Grand Slam.
Alex de Minaur
Alex enters the fray after defeating Taro Daniel 6-2, 6-2 to enter the Semis. Alex had a rather underwhelming 42% first serve, an issue that is persistent. However, when he did connect with his first serve, he had a 95% win on it. Alex was as usual on-point in terms of his return game, earning a 29-18 receiving points advantage. Alex is a well-versed player at this point and has managed to be in the top-30 rankings for multiple years, having ranked as high as 15 in 2021. His service game is not elite level but his tactical responses make him a tricky match-up.
Holger Rune vs Alex de Minaur Head-to-Head
Rune and Minaur have met twice and Rune has won both of these battles. They last met in Basel in 2022 where Rune won in straight sets.
Expert Betting Tips
Rune has a much more explosive game than Alex and that has translated into an advantage in the head-to-head and overall. The momentum is high with both teams but I lean towards Rune to win it. However, this can be a close game.
