The US Open has begun and we are bound to see some of the most interesting battles possible. In the WTA, there are too many upsets and at this point, the term upset has become redundant in numerous ways. After all, last year Qualifier Emma Raducan won the US Open. Another contender Darya Kasatkina will take on Harriet Dart to test out the murky waters of the Grand Slam.

Harriet Dart
Dart enters the tournament after losing to Nuria Parrizas-Diaz in the second round. Before that, she was beaten in the Qualifiers by Anastasia Potapova. She also was ousted in the Qualifiers of Canadian Open, where she lost to Ajla Tomljanovic. During her last Grand Slam, Wimbledon she lost to Jessica Pegula in the second round. Overall, Harriet isn’t expected to make a deep run here and the 26-years old entered the top 100 rankings just this year. Can she weave something special?
Darya Kasatkina
Darya enters in a great groove and stand fantastic chance of making a deep run in the Grand Slam. She defeated Daria Saville in the Final of the WTA Granby Open to claim the title. During Cincinnati Masters, she lost to Amanda Anisimova in the first round. She also lost in the first round of the Canadian Open to Bianca Andreescu.
But prior to that, she had won Silicon Valley Classic, defeating Shelby Rogers in the Final while beating Paula Badosa, Aryna Sabalenka, Taylor Townsend, and Elena Rybakina in what has definitely been one of the best runs. Can Darya step it up further and do something big here, but first, she got to win the opening games.

Expert Betting Tips
Darya is going to come into this game with a great rhythm, having two WTA titles in a space of a month. She has shown that she can make deep runs and that lower-ranked players usually stand no chance against her. Harriet is one of those lower-ranked players and she is likely to get blown away in two sets.
