Germany vs. Canada Prediction: Canada to Outright Win

On paper, Germany appears to be the biggest underdog of the last eight Davis Cup Finals nations, but in Tim Puets and Kevin Krawietz, they have two unbeaten doubles players in this tournament, either as a pair or with other partners. Denis Shapovalov, world number 18, found some decent form late in the season, but a loss to Yoshihito Nishioka in the final of the Korea Open was another frustrating result given his high ceiling.

Vasek Pospisil won a Challenger event last weekend, signaling a solid return to form ahead of the Davis Cup Finals, a tournament in which he has consistently exceeded expectations, and it would not be surprising to see him called upon as an experienced voice alongside one of the two youngsters in a doubles decider.

Expert Betting Tips

Canada is the overwhelming favorite, but Germany has the superior doubles option. If Canada wins the first match, they should win 2-0, but Germany should win 2-1 if Jan-Lennard Struff defeats Denis Shapovalov for the ninth time. Without in-play, the most logical bet is on Canada to win outright.
