Sorana Cirstea is a Romanian tennis player who is currently ranked 26th on the WTA ranking. Sorana Cirstea has 2 singles titles which were the WTA Istanbul in 2021 and WTA Tashkent back in 2008. Sorana had also been to the final 4 times throughout her career and the most recent was in Strasbourg back in 2021. And in the Australian Open 2024, she failed to make it past the 128th round as she was knocked out by Yafan Wang.

Sorana Cirstea has also been excellent in the Abu Dhabi tournament. She won her first game against Caroline Garcia in 3 sets, beating her 7:6,4:6,4:6. And in her next game, she faced Maria Sakkari and she won in straight sets, beating her 6:2,6:1.
