The Professional tennis scene is one of the best in the world as the quality of battles can be seen on an almost a daily basis. There is no second chance as each game is a knockdown so to win it all, one needs to be undefeated, which is a tenuous task. The job is more tenuous when you are coming back after a long layoff. One such player is Carlos Alcaraz, who will take on Dusan Lajovic.

Alcaraz comes into the game after defeating Laslo Dere 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 in the Round of 16. Carlos had a 71-65 percent advantage in the first serve and he had a spectacular 73% win on the first serve. His return game was on point and he ended up with 52 service points compared to 47 by Dere while having a 30-21 receiving points edge. Alcaraz returns to action after Fourth of November and sadly, he has had a long gap due to injury. Still, he is seated at number two rank, thanks to his US Open title run. It is a shame we didn’t see this spectacular player during the Australian Open.
Dusan Lajovic
Lajovic comes into the game after defeating Camilo Carabelli 6-3, 6-1 in the Round of 16. He took advantage of multiple lapses by Camilo and had a 31-20 receiving points advantage. His serve game was on fire too as he picked out a 40-31 service points edge. Dusan had to reach this far after undergoing a Qualifiers round(as a number one seed). He is a proven winner and has reached as far as 23 on the ATP rankings. However, his form has been falling and he has had to bow out early during multiple tournaments.
Carlos Alcaraz vs Dusan Lajovic Head-to-Head
Carlos and Dusan have only met once and that was during last year’s Australian Open when Carlos won in straight sets.
Expert Betting Tips
Carlos has been recovering from his injury and although he looked great in the previous game, he will be looking to get even better because this is a man who has accomplished a lot already. That is why I expect Alcaraz to win here in straight sets.ATP Buenos Aires.
