Her most impressive run lately was in the Cincinnati Masters when she lost to Caroline Garcia in the Final after having beaten Madison Keys and Ons Jabeur on the way. Due to the current runs, she has made it to the 21st ranking.

Kvitova is the obvious favorite here and she will be expected to make a deep run to at least end the season on a high. As for Pera, she has faced troubles against quality opponents in the first round but she has shown that she can make a decent run as she did in Cleveland earlier this year. However, her campaign is most likely to be short-lived again and I believe Pera will win this.
