The WTA scene is complicated when it comes to betting and there have been times even when the obvious favorites can end up losing in a jiffy. And the situation can be further complicated when two players are ranked around each other. And in this game, such a scenario will be played out as Beatriz Haddad-Maia is going to take on Bianca Andreescu.

Beatriz Haddad Maia
Beatriz is in her prime form and has been getting it done more often than not. Beatriz comes into the game after defeating Ana Konjuh 6-0, 6-0 in a scenario that can be as lopsided as possible. Beatriz had a fabulous 76% win on the first serve. This game sums up the form the Brazilian has been in this year. She has clasped the 15-seed courtesy of impressive play that includes a Finals run to the Canadian Open where she lost to Simona Halep. Can Beatriz capitalize upon the hot run that she has acquired recently?
Bianca Andreescu
While Bianca’s game hasn’t been as riveting this season, she has still been a formidable foe more often than not. Andreescu has fallen way below her earlier ranking of 4. There has been a lot of frustration around the Canadian maestro but she did a great job of defeating a feisty Harmony Tan, winning 6-0, 3-6, 6-1 in a game where she had a 76% win on the first serve and ended up winning six games in a row. Even in Wimbledon, her campaign ended in the second round, which was a similar case in French Open earlier. Can she unlock the version of Bianca that won the 2019 US Open?
Beatriz Haddad-Maia vs Bianca Andreescu Head-to-Head
Beatriz and Bianca have met once and Bianca won that battle way back in 2016.
Expert Betting Tips
Bianca’s form has been a big cause of concern at this point while Beatriz has hit her back. Historically, Beatriz has been unable to get past the second round of the Grand Slams. Haddad Maia will be looking to continue her form from the earlier tournaments but that doesn’t mean that this is going to be a cakewalk for her. This is the WTA, you never know when a player acts like a Phoenix and rises up. I still’d back Beatriz to win this game in three sets.
