This title run followed the winning run during the Tallinn Open so she has won two tournaments in a row. However, the US Open run was underwhelming as she lost in the second round. In the tournaments prior to that, she showcased signs of exhaustion and lost a bunch of games but she has won two straight titles which caused her to remain in the top-20 rankings, still quite far away from the WTA Finals’ last spot.
