Kleckers initially garnered attention in 2013 when, at the age of 17, he won the German Amateur Championship, the highest-rated and most prestigious amateur event in Germany, defeating Roman Dietzel 4–2. In the years thereafter, he has made two appearances in the World Championship qualifying rounds, losing 10–6 to Noppon Saengkham in 2015 and 10–7 to Rory McLeod in 2016. He won his first European Tour match in the 2015 Riga Open, defeating Anthony Hamilton 4–0 before losing 4–0 to Stephen Maguire.

Kleckers won six matches at Q-School in May 2017, including victories against former pros Adrian Rosa and Martin O'Donnell, to obtain a two-year World Snooker Tour card for 2017–18 and 2018–19.

Soheil Vahedi Confident To Secure Another Win Against Lukas

In 2009, Vahedi competed in the World Amateur Under-21 Snooker Championships in his native nation of Kish, Iran, reaching the final before losing 9–8 against Noppon Saengkham. Seven years after his defeat in Kish, Vahedi reached the final of the World Amateur Snooker Championship, where he defeated Andrew Pagett 8–1 to win the 2016 IBSF World Snooker Championship, earning him a two-year professional World Snooker Tour card for the 2017–18 and 2018–19 seasons. Vahedi won five matches at Q-School - Event 1 in May 2019 to earn a two-year World Snooker Tour card for the 2019–20 and 2020–21 seasons.
