Taylor became professional in 2013 after finishing sixth on the PTC Order of Merit, earning a tour card for the 2013–14 and 2014–15 seasons. He then stayed on tour until 2019. However, after finishing outside the top 64, he lost his tour card and was unable to re-qualify for the tour via Q School. He works out and prepares at St Mary's Men's Club.
Lyu Haotian – The Beijing Breakbuilder
Lyu Haotian is a snooker player from the People's Republic of China. At the age of 14, he is one of the youngest snooker players to have competed in professional competitions. When he was 14 years old, he reached the quarter-finals of the 2012 International Championship.
Lyu's performance improved over the previous season. Lyu Haotian qualified for the second stage of the first WST Pro Series after winning his first six mini-matches, including a 2–0 victory over defending World Champion Ronnie O'Sullivan.
Lyu defeated fellow Chinese players Gao Yang and Chang Bingyu in the World Championship to qualify for the Crucible for the second time. However, his break-off shot in the opening frame struck the blue, and his opponent Mark Allen won with a 139 break.
