But he's had to make three substitutions in the pack due to injuries: loose-head prop Andrew Nimmo, hooker Grant Stewart, and second-row Rory Jackson, all of whom have started every game so far this season. William Farquhar, Blair Jardine, and Archie Smeaton have replaced the inactive guys, while Jamie Drummond, Ewan Bulger-Hamilton, and Tim Brown have been added to the subs' bench. Thomas Glendinning, a winger, is also back in the lineup after missing the last game. Meanwhile, Cam Jones will replace Euan McAra at scrum half to face the team he played for last season. Sam Wallace has been moved to the bench, and Cameron Cobbett was unlucky to be left off the matchday 23 squad. However, the return of skipper Iain Wilson and fellow back-rower Ruairidh Leishman adds some much-needed experience to the pack. Chris Anderson, a loose-head prop on loan from the Currie Chieftains, has been added to the bench in place of Struan Cessford.
