Zhalgas Zhumagulov was the champion of the Russian league AMC Fight Nights in 2018-2019 (where, by the way, he defeated Tagir Ulanbekov and Ali Bagaudinov), after which he signed in the UFC, where the most interesting thing happened. Not to say that he fought badly in the strongest league in the world, but defeats followed one after another, and almost all were very offensive, often unfair.
Zhalgas lost his last three fights in the UFC by split decision (many experts believe he won them), and that was the last straw - Zhumagulov left the league. Then he fought twice in Naiza FC and won both times.
Aaron Aby
We would never have known there was such a fighter if he hadn't suddenly received a fight with Zhalgas Zhumagulov. Aaron Abi hasn't fought in the big leagues, he hasn't seen Zhalgas' level of opposition in his eyes, and he has spent his last three fights in the Oktagon MMA league (two losses and one win).
Interestingly, before his career in mixed martial arts, this guy was professionally involved in football and played for the Cefn Druids club. Moreover, Aaron Abi was called up to the Welsh youth national team at the same time as the future superstar Gareth Bale, and at the club he played with Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal star) and Joe Allen (former Liverpool defender).
Expert Betting Tips
Obviously, the level of athletes is very different, and the former football player with the former UFC fighter can not cope. Nevertheless, Zhumagulov's victory is unlikely to be easy. After all, Aaron Abi has just claimed the league title, and Zhalgas himself is on the wane, he's 36 years old, he's seriously considering ending his career, and it's probably hard to motivate himself after the UFC in the Oktagon league, with all due respect to it.
