On the night of November 18, Chicago will host Bellator 301, where in one of the main card bouts undefeated Russian fighter Timur Khizriev will share the cage with American Justin Gonzales.

Timur Khizriev made his professional mixed martial arts debut in 2014 and has yet to suffer a defeat. Before joining Bellator, Timur competed in the Russian leagues. In his last fight in Russia, he finished Ruslan Ryskul in the first round. In 2022, he signed a contract with Bellator and fought two fights here, winning both times by unanimous decision.
Justin Gonzales
In 2019, Justin Gonzales won the Contender Series but, for some reason, did not make it to the UFC. Instead, he had one fight in LFA (winning by knockout) and signed with Bellator. He already has three victories and two defeats, all ended by decision. In his last fight, he lost to Mads Burnell (16-5 record at the time).

Gonzales was doing well until he came to Bellator, where the competition is generally not very tough but still a little more serious than before. And although the American is not one of the top fighters, he is a patient and spirited fighter. We do not doubt that Timur will defeat him, but we doubt that it will be easy. Khizriev is not into the knockouts at all. He prefers a tit in his hands to a crane in the sky, so he will not change anything in his plan - working precisely and winning by points.
