On the night of November 20th, another UFC tournament will take place in the United States. One of Russia's main fighters, Muslim Salikhov, will share the cage with a Portuguese, Andre Fialho.
The fight will take place in the welterweight category. None of the fighters is in the top 15 of the official UFC rankings of the challenger division. In bookmaker's betting odds, the Russian is a slight favorite.
Muslim Salikhov
The "King of Kung Fu," Muslim Salikhov, was terrific in the UFC. He won five in a row, but in his last fight, he lost to Li Jingliang by TKO in the second round. That time Salikhov took the first round, but in the second round, Jingliang adapted to the Muslim's style.
André Fialho
Fialho had four bouts in the UFC (two wins and two losses), and three times (!), he has performed on short notice. The Portuguese doesn't choose his fight plan, he goes out and fights, and that's why his bouts are always spectacular.
He's Portuguese, the school is similar to Brazilian. He's a very good puncher boxing at a high level, always pressing. It will be an interesting fight. We'll each be looking for a finish, and we'll probably figure out standings, so it'll be interesting.
Expert Betting Tips
The fight will occur in standing, but the Portuguese's street boxing is unlikely to be a problem for the well-trained and technically better-equipped Salikhov. Some experts point out that the old Russian will hardly withstand Fialho's pressure during the fight. The truth is that the bout will barely last to the end, and the powerful leg and arm blows of Salikhov will knock down all the aggressive swagger of the Portuguese fighter. In addition, Fialho is by no means a cardio machine.
