Murad Ramazanov

Murad Ramazanov is a Russian mixed martial arts master of sport, and he became quite famous after he picked up three wins in the ONE League, where he defeated local star Sebastian Kadestam, among others.

He joined the PFL in 2024, where he began his quest for a million with an early win over Laureano Staropoli, who by then was on a streak of four straight wins.

Shamil Musaev

Shamil Musaev played for the Russian national MMA team not too long ago and was a world champion in the sport. His fighting style is more striking than wrestling, which is not quite typical for Dagestanis (although we know quite a few pleasant exceptions).

This year Shamil made his PFL debut and unexpectedly knocked out not just anyone, but Logan Storley, the same one who took away the Bellator championship belt from Yaroslav Amosov.

Prior to the PFL, Musaev went head-to-head in the Fight Nights and KSW leagues, and finished former UFC fighter Alexei Kunchenko in the RCC.

Of course, we won't be treated like boys here, but we're not expecting a bloodbath either. It's hard to pick a winner, but we'll still give our preference to Musaev if you insist. It seems to us that his arsenal is a bit wider - in the stand-up he is definitely stronger, and in the parterre he could not cope with quite serious wrestlers (including top Logan Storley, who won everything possible in American student wrestling). Shamil also has more experience, and now he is simply in cosmic athletic form.
