When things went from bad to worse in the UFC, Mike Perry moved to the BKFC and has been a fish out of water. He got three bouts and three wins, defeating not just anyone but Julian Lane, Michael Page, and Luke Rockhold. Bare-knuckle fights seem to have been invented for Mike. He is entertained by war, and this time, he will be very aggressive again, and the fans will definitely enjoy watching him fight.
Eddie Alvarez
Eddie Alvarez is a former champion of Bellator and UFC. In 2019, he moved to ONE, didn't do well there (two defeats and only one victory), took a few years off, and signed with Bare Knuckle FC. And quite successfully - in his debut fight, Alvarez won against Chad Mendes.
Mike’s tough as hell. He makes up for a lot of the lack of his stuff with his toughness, his grit, his will – that kind of stuff. But when you’re going against another fighter like myself, who has all that, and all of them boxes are checked, then you’re going to have to rely on your skill and your game plan, and something more than just grit and will to get you by. I respect Mike Perry and what he does and his resilience, (but) I’m going to hit him too much, too often, too hard. If he don’t stop fighting, I think the ref’s going to stop him from fighting.
Expert Betting Tips
This bout is a big win for the promotion. The fighters are smart and spectacular. The most popular message in the fan community is, "We can't wait to see these guys beat the crap out of each other." Still, it's pretty hard to predict a winner here, as all three of Perry's bare-knuckle fights and Alvarez's debut have been very close. But the oddsmakers have Perry as the favorite. This is because Mike is younger, bigger, and has more experience in bare-knuckle fighting. We think the TO bet will be more interesting. Alvarez has a great boxing technique and can avoid the knockout blow. Perry, although he won all three fights, could not finish anyone (Rockhold refused to continue because of knocked-out teeth, and he won by decision against Lane and Page).
