Early on the morning of April 16, Arnold Allen, who has quietly climbed to the top of the rankings, will face his most formidable career opponent. Former UFC champion Max Holloway will test him. Both fighters are in the top 5 of the welterweight division, and bookmakers consider Holloway the favorite.

Max Blessed Holloway fights spectacularly, and you won't see him on the ground (well, seldom). He likes to fight on a counter course as he's perfect for that - an incredible character and the best punching technique. According to the experts, he lost the title in a very controversial bout against Alex Volkanovski. Holloway was obviously better in the rematch, but the judges had a different decision.
The trilogy ended even sadder. Volkanovski found the key to Holloway and beat him all the way. Thus, Max was left from another title shot and somehow gave up. On the other hand, Volkanovski is Volkanovski, and we'll see how much Holloway has given up in his fight against Arnold Allen.
Before his third fight with Alex, the Blessed was doing well. He had two hot bouts the year before last, against Calvin Kattar and Yair Rodriguez, where he fought like a lion and rightfully won both by points. It was beautiful and bloody.
Arnold Allen
No one was paying attention to Allen until suddenly it turned out that the guy had twelve straight wins, including ten in the UFC, with not a single loss in the league. And his fourth-place ranking looks like a mockery. Oh yeah, he doesn't make noise in social media and interviews. It's okay, then.
Allen won his previous two bouts within the distance against some strong guys (Dan Hooker and Calvin Kattar), but Max Holloway is by far the toughest opposition of his career.
Expert Betting Tips
Despite Allen's remarkable victories, Holloway is still the favorite - his aura is too great. In addition, there is an apparent overload of the line - many fans worldwide are rooting for him. But it's far from clear-cut. You need to follow Briton's performances more closely. Allen is good indeed and is not inferior to Max at all. He's faster and better on defense but has lesser experience. He has yet to be seen in the fourth or fifth round. And the fight will likely go into the distance - the guys are not a pro knockout.
