Malkoun has an incredible takedown rate, and combined with his wrestling skills, he has an advantage in the vast majority of the battles he participates in. Because Malkoun's striking isn't his strong point, it's possible for him to lose his fights if they get to standing. However, if the fight goes to the ground, he has a much better chance of coming out on top. Brundage, on the other hand, has not fared well in the UFC, posting a record of 2-4 overall and coming into this battle having dropped his previous three fights in a row. The American fighter, who is now 29 years old, has a background in grappling as well; nevertheless, his wrestling has not been very useful for him in the UFC. Cody Brundage can be entertaining at times, but the reality is that he is extremely fortunate to be given another opportunity to compete in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) due to the fact that he is not yet prepared to compete at this level of the sport. Because of this and the fact that Jacob Malkoun is the superior fighter, I anticipate that he will triumph via knockout.
