Kutateladze's journey to the UFC is a story that would make a great movie. He left Georgia as a child with his family, moved back to Russia, and then returned to Georgia, where he faced another difficult period due to military conflict. Then Guram moved to Sweden, where he was living on the brink of survival. But then he met Alex Gustafsson and Khamzat Chimaev, which changed everything for him.
Kutateladze made his UFC debut in 2020 with a win over Mateusz Gamrot, who fought Arman Tsarukyan a little later and is now ranked fifth. But then Guram suffered a couple of losses—to Damir Ismagulov by split decision and Elves Brener by technical knockout.
Jordan Vucenic
Jordan Vucevic is stepping in at the last minute and isn't yet well-known to many martial arts fans. He's spent most of his career in the Cage Warriors league, which is pretty strong. Jordan's currently on a four-fight winning streak, and all of his wins have been by submission.
Expert Betting Tips
If Kutateladze can hold his own against Vucevic's wrestling for at least half of the fight, it'll be easier for him from here on out. He won't lose to a tired, unprepared opponent. Guram's at the UFC level, so he's already gained much experience. Besides, after two losses, he's now fully motivated. We think he'll do well for all these reasons. It's also worth mentioning that Vucevic's last bout happened just over a month ago. With no training camp, a flight from London to the Emirates, and a weight race that didn't go his way - the Georgian fighter has a good chance of winning, compared to the opponent.
