He joined Bellator in 2020 and had seven matches in total. Among the seven, five were victories and two were losses. Burnell joined PFL this year and has had an equal share of a win and a loss. His debut loss was to Michael Dufort in the second round. In his last fight, Burnell won against former PFL finalist Clay Collard about a month ago via unanimous decision. He is a former Bellator featherweight contender.
