On August 6th, another UFC tournament will take place in Nashville. Americans Corey Sandhagen and Rob Font will share the cage in the main event. Font is filling in for Umar Nurmagomedov, so the fight will occur in the interim weight class. Sandhagen is ranked fourth in the lightweight division, while Rob is seventh.

Bright and unconventional puncher Cory Sandhagen, former kickboxing titleholder and Sparta CL local league champion, has been close to a title shot for a long time. He once even fought for the interim belt but lost to Peter Yan. Since that, Cory has won two in a row but hasn't convinced anyone that he's worthy of competing with the best in the division. He beat Song Yadong (doctor's stoppage) and Marlon Vera by split decision.
Rob Font
Rob Font has also been high in the rankings for quite some time, but it's unlikely he'll ever get a title shot. His skills are excellent but not brilliant, there are no particular flaws in his technique, but there is nothing he can use to dominate strong opponents.
Expert Betting Tips
We have to respect Rob for taking a fight on short notice that he has a minimal chance of winning. As we know, style makes a bout, and Font is convenient for Sandhagen - he can't oppose in a fight, and he'll get crushed and destroyed in the standing.
He's very similar in style to Yadong, and Sandhagen beat him up enthusiastically until the doctor stopped all that horror. Again, it will probably be a one-sided beating, but Font is a stubborn guy and will take it to the end, while Sandhagen is not known as a terrible knockout expert.
