The UFC tournament is going to be held in the US on the night of 16 March, with the co-main event being a fight between American Chidi Njokuani and Brazilian fighter Eliseu Zaleski dos Santos. The fight will be in the welterweight category.

Chidi Njokuani is an American of Nigerian descent. He started his martial arts journey with Thai boxing and has a track record of knockouts (only one win by submission). Njokuani did have a bit of a run of bad luck in 2022-23, losing three in a row (including a split decision loss to Albert Duraev), but he bounced back last year with wins in both of his fights. His most recent capture was Jared Gooden (23-9 record at the time).
Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos
Elizeu dos Santos is a name with which mixed martial arts fans are well acquainted. Over the last five years, he's fought Rinat Fakhretdinov (draw), Abubakar Nurmagomedov (split decision win), Muslim Salikhov (split decision loss) and Alexey Kunchenko (unanimous decision win). Zaleski joined the UFC exactly ten years ago from the Brazilian league Jungle Fight, where he was the champion. H may not have achieved the same heights, but he did have a winning streak of seven UFC fights. Elizeu often wins by knockout, but he doesn't like to fight very much, and in his last fight he finished debutant Zack Scroggin (7-0 record at the time) right after the first minute of the first round.

Both of them usually win by knockout, but they also get knocked down themselves (especially Chidi). The UFC stats back this up, with both fighters landing a high number of accentuated punches (4.59 and 4.53 per minute on average) and missing a lot of punches (2.67 and 3.41). At the same time, both of their defenses and wrestling are rather weak, and you can see the 'wear and tear' associated with age.
