On November 3rd, in Edmonton, Canada, there'll be a UFC tournament. The main event will be a bout between former champion Brandon Moreno and Amir Albazi from Iraq, who's got a lot of promise. The fight will be in the lightweight class (Moreno is ranked second in the division, Albazi - third).

Brandon Moreno is well-known to all mixed martial arts fans, primarily from his long-running battles with Davison Figueredo. He held the UFC belt twice and lost it twice, and then when this epic with Figueredo ended, he suddenly failed two fights in a row. But to be fair, Moreno lost both by split decision - the judges gave the win to Alexander Pantoja and Brandon Royval.
Amir Albazi
Amir Albazi has only suffered one defeat in his entire career. Before the UFC, he was alternately the champion of two local promotions, UCMMA and FSC. In the UFC, though, he's already won five bouts (including one over Zhalgas Zhumagulov), and in his last fight, he beat Kai Kara-France by a split decision, though not everyone agreed with the judges in this case.
Expert Betting Tips
Moreno seems to have lost his grip in his last two fights and is not as dangerous as he used to be. He's backed into a corner and knows it – it's all or nothing now. We think he'll be back, especially as he's clearly just as skilled as his cocky opponent. Albazi's strength is in the parterre, so he'll look to put the fight down on the canvas. However, finishing the former champion is unlikely to work. The judges must count the points, and Moreno will likely knock his opponent over on their feet. There will be parity in the parterre.
