On the night of April 24, another UFC Fight Night event will take place in Las Vegas. In one of the main fights Moldovan Alexander Romanov will meet an American Chase Sherman.
The bout will take place in a heavyweight category. None of the fighters in the top 15 of the official UFC rankings of the challenger division. According to bookmaker's betting odds Romanov is a huge favorite for this fight.

Romanov is not beaten yet, and it's pretty surprising that he still hasn't got a top opponent. Out of fifteen King Kong fights, only one has made it to the decision, and it doesn't matter if it's UFC or not UFC.
In his previous fight, Alexander didn't betray himself. He put the American on the canvas, started beating him, and made the referee stop the bout. That's how Romanov's fights usually end.
It's not my job. It's my big team's job. I worked very hard after the last fight, because I need to show that I'm the best in the business. I came here to fight. What the decision on who's next will be on the UFC side, I'm ready to take everyone's challenge.
Romanov's most controversial and challenging fight was against Juan Espino (10-1) at UFC on ESPN 22 last April. Juan Espino is a great grappler (five-time world champion and five-time European), undefeated in the UFC. The Moldovan fighter was slightly better, but the Spaniard seized the initiative in the third round. To his misfortune, he took an illegal knee to the groin, after which Romanov was unable to continue. The judges deliberated and awarded the victory to Alexander by a separate decision.
Chase Sherman: Probably, His Last UFC Fight
Chase Sherman is out on short notice and has lost his last three fights (Arlovski, Porter, and Collier). In the first round, Jack Collier (12-6, 5-5 in the UFC) choked Sherman. So the big question is whether Sherman can get to that rubicon (first gong) in the Romanov fight. Here, for example, the bookies don't believe it at all.
But there is one unbelievable fact - Chase Sherman scored fourteen of them by knockouts out of his fifteen wins. But he also lost five times early.
Expert Betting Tips
The only intrigue is whether or not Chase Sherman will live to hear the first bell. Here are the arguments that he will. Sherman has an intimidating punch that will make Romanov cautious and wait until the American gets tired. Alexander is quite capable of causing problems, as proved by Juan Espino and whose tactics Sherman has certainly studied carefully. And thirdly, out of four fights in the UFC, the Moldovan has only one victory in the first round. We bet on Romanov to win.
