The Bellator 277 tournament will take place on April 16 in the United States. The main event will feature a rematch between two of the league's top fighters, AJ McKee and Patricio "Pitbull" Freire.
The fighters will have their second fight between them. The first time they fought was in July last year, then AJ McKee won by guillotine in the first round.

McKee is one of the world's top MMA stars and a flesh-and-blood product of the Bellator promotion. He has had all of his fights here, all of which he has won, including six by knockout and seven by submission.
McKee is a versatile fighter in the purest form of that term. He has a tough punching style, almost perfect if we're talking about the school. Reflexes, quickness of thought and movement, impeccable timing - it's all about him. When it comes to wrestling, his arsenal of techniques is no less magnificent. His weaknesses have yet to be seen, there is simply no one in Bellator to point them out.
Patricio Freire: Former two-division champion
Pitbull lost the title in his previous fight to his current opponent. He is a true legend, but it seems that his best years are slowly behind him. His defeat in his last fight was his first in five years.
McKee is a dangerous opponent. He's very explosive at the beginning of the fight, but then he gets a bit tired. Of course, I'll try to knock him out or finish him with a takedown, but what I want to do is beat him up. I don't want to end this fight too quickly. I want to beat him in all five rounds. I want to kick his ass for the whole 25 minutes.
How the first Mackie - Pitbull fight went
After a little reconnaissance, already in the second minute of the fight, McKee delivered an impressive high kick to his opponent. Pitbull braced himself against the net, took some more hard punches, and fell down as a result. McKee thought it was a knockout, but the referee did not stop the fight. Pitbull started to get up, but McKee threw a guillotine and choked his opponent after all.

Catching an upset here is pretty dangerous. Most likely the fight will end the same way as last time, just maybe not as quickly. Freire is no longer at the right age to train his new instincts. McKee is legitimately the big favorite, but a slight chance of a stray punch to Pitbull is still left.
Analysts rate McKee's win at 1.31 and Freire's win at 3.35.
