Judging by the team's pre-season results, they have every chance of doing just that. Utah won their first two games - 5:3 over St Louis and 3:2 in overtime against Los Angeles. They then went on to lose 5:2 to Vegas but bounced back to win again the day before. This time, they beat Colorado 6:3.
