South African professional golfer Matthys J. Daffue, born on January 13, 1989, competes on the Korn Ferry Tour. Daffue played his first year of collegiate golf for Lee University before moving to Lamar University for his last three years of eligibility. While attending Lamar, he was victorious in five tournaments and twice claimed the Southland Conference title. He led the Southland Conference in scoring in 2011 and was named to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics' All-American team. Daffue competed in his first Korn Ferry Tour tournament this year. Daffue qualified for six PGA Tour tournaments on Monday for the upcoming 2021-22 season. In 2022, he won the final qualifying tournament to play in the U.S. Open, and he went on to establish a commanding lead in the second round. Daffue has one professional victory to his name, the 2013 NeSmith Chevrolet Classic.

Akshay Bhatia

After representing India in the 2019 Walker Cup, Bhatia decided to turn professional and made his first appearance at the Sanderson Farms Championship in September. But in his professional career, the American golfer has already won four times. By a margin of three strokes, Bhatia triumphed in the ST 11 at the Old South Golf on the Swing Thought Tour on August 5, 2020. Bhatia won the ST 12 at the Brunswick in a playoff on February 25, 2021, giving him his second victory on the Swing Thought Tour. Bhatia won the GProTour 2021 Biggs Classic on May 29. Bhatia made it into the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines in June 2021. In his first attempt at a major title, he advanced to the tournament's second day and tied for 57th. Bhatia won the 2022 Korn Ferry Tour event at the Bahamas Great Exuma Classic in January.
