Zed FC vs Petrojet Prediction: The hosts will be too hot for the Petrojet to handle, but they must not underestimate their guests

Zed FC will host newly promoted Petrojet FC at the Arab Contractors Stadium on Monday in their attempt to return to winning ways. The hosts are unbeaten in three games, while the visiting side match here with a decent display in their recent win over El Gouna.

Petrojet, who were unbeaten in their first five games in the league the year they relegated have started well this campaign. More recently, they scored just once against El Gouna after firing twenty-two shots. For a newly promoted team, Petrojet had 63% of the ball as they dominated their opponent from start to the end. 

The guests have picked up eight points from a combined eighteen, scoring five and conceding five. 

Petrojet have won once over their last three games on the road. 

Expert Betting Tips

Both teams met in the Egyptian League Two over the years, with Petrojet winning twice and sharing the spoils three times against Zed FC. However, things have changed since then as Zed FC have established themselves as one of the fiercely competitive opponents in this competition. The hosts were not really sharp in front of goal in their recent home game, and this is their opportunity to rewrite their mistakes. 

Zed FC can’t afford to drop points twice on their home turf, and knowing how dangerous Petrojet can be, I will back Zed FC to at least secure a point here and score less than a goal for 1.74.

I think this game won’t produce lots of goals, and a total of under 1.5 goals might surface here for 2.27.
