Portland Timbers vs Los Angeles Galaxy: Waiting for Another Over Match

Round 5 of the MLS regular season will end with a matchup between Portland Timbers and Los Angeles Galaxy. A rather colorful headline. However, both teams have not started the current season in the best way, so both need the points, and therefore have a high motivation for the upcoming matchup.

Despite two consecutive losses, Los Angeles is higher in the Western Conference standings than its opponent. Specifically, in 10th position, the Galaxy have the same 6 points, but a better goal difference than the Timbers. The Galaxy's away stats are seventh in the division, with one win and one failure in two games on a 3-3 goal differential.
