The England national team had an excellent showing at Euro 2024. Gareth Southgate's charges reached the tournament's final, only to lose 2:1 to Spain in a dramatic encounter. Remember, Southgate left his post and was replaced by Lee Carsley, who was brought in as a caretaker. And it was under his stewardship that England defeated Ireland 2:0 in the first round of the Nations League.
Finland
Finland failed to reach the finals of Euro 2024. They had an excellent qualifying campaign and even went to the knockout stages, where they were beaten 4:1 by Wales. As a result, the Finns took part in just two friendlies over the summer, losing to Portugal 2:4 and drawing with Scotland 2:2. Finland also defeated in the first round of the new Nations League, losing 3:0 to Greece.

England is the clear favorite. Lee Carsley's England played a good game against Ireland and won in Southgate's style—unbeaten. Finland was beaten 3:0 by Greece the day before, so we don't think they have a chance in London. In general, we expect England to win by a smaller margin.
