The Ukraine national team had a superb first leg at the European Championships, scoring two unanswered goals against Croatia. Will the home team be able to play a similarly high quality game in the second leg against host Romania?

The Romanian team faced Spain in their first home UEFA European Championship game. They could not fight against one of the main favorites of the tournament (0:3). Ukraine, and Croatia are weaker than the Spaniards, so there is still a chance for Romania to clinch the quarter-finals in the final two rounds of the group stage.
Overall, this is the third straight competition for the Romanian national team. The team failed to qualify from the group stage at the last championship and reached the semi-finals in 2019, where they lost to Germany.
Ukraine
The team approached the match against Croatia as clear underdogs. The Ukraine national side didn't have a game advantage but, unlike their opponents, converted their chances. Olexiy Kaschuk scored in the middle of the first half, and Danylo Sikan scored at the beginning of the second half, 2:0. The game with Romania will now ensure Ukraine's place in the European Under-21 playoffs for the first time since 2006.
Expert Betting Tips
In the first round, Romania met arguably the strongest team in the continent, but even given that fact, we must admit that the tournament's hosts failed in their encounter with Spain. Romania lost by all accounts - 0:3. In contrast, the Ukrainians showed in their game with Croatia that they should not be underestimated. Ruslan Rotan has a great, organized team, having suffered only two defeats since October 2021 or in the last 16 games. There's a sense that Ukraine is capable, if not of repeating their best-ever youth EURO result (silver medal in 2006), then of coming very close to it.
Our bets are on the Ukrainians, and we also assume that the encounter will be productive - Ukraine conceded a goal in the game against Croatia but did not concede one, and now the luck of the Ukrainian team may return for that; Romania will have to show a little more than usual due to the difficult tournament situation after losing in the first round.
