Mallorca vs Real Betis Prediction: Greens will be closer to winning

In the first round of La Liga, Betis destroyed Elche at home, 3-0. Will the Green-and-Whites now be able to cope with Mallorca on the road? We'll select a few bets at once.  

Mallorca was lucky in the first round

Javier Aguirre's team played the starting match of the new championship in Bilbao against Athletic and had to lose with a 2-3 goal difference. But the Pirates were saved by two circumstances. Firstly, the traditionally poor realization of scoring chances. Secondly, a phenomenal play of their goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic. The result was 0-0. More than acceptable for Mallorca, given the way the game unfolded. 

Betis crushed their opponent

In the opening round, Manuel Pellegrini's team took on Elche. As early as the 16th minute, Betis was left on a power play after a direct red card from the opponents and then mocked the opposite team. The result was 3-0. Betis could have scored 4 or 5 goals. Borja Iglesias and Juanmi were the ones to score, the latter twice. After the first round, Betis shares first place in the table with Villarreal and Atletico, who also won their matches 3-0.

In the match with Elche, the early suspension on the opposing team certainly helped Betis. Still, Manuel Pellegrini's team looked very convincing. On the other hand, Mallorca had nothing to offer in the first round against Athletic and got out of Bilbao with a point only thanks to a miracle and the phenomenal work of their goalkeeper. It is unlikely that Rajkovic will be able to deliver the same quality for a second consecutive game. So Manuel Pellegrini's magnificent team has every chance of achieving a positive result here.
