Girona vs Getafe Prediction: Expect a Draw?

The first match of Sunday's pool of the second round of the Spanish La Liga will be a duel between Catalan Girona and Getafe. Both teams started the championship with draws and both in some way surprised positively. Bookmakers are on the side of Girona, however, Getafe should definitely not be underestimated.

Girona

Girona started the Spanish championship in San Sebastian with a match against the local Basques. Real Sociedad was the first to take the lead in that game in the fifth minute and retreated into defense. As a result, Girona seized the initiative, and in the second half, the Ukrainian tandem of Tsygankov-Dovbyk scored a goal and brought the Catalans a draw. Getafe

Getafe surprised even more in the first round, managing not to lose on their field to the reigning champion, Catalan Barcelona. Citizens were partly lucky because, in the 42nd minute, Rafinha received a straight red card. Despite the absence of one player, Barcelona dominated but could not score. Getafe possessed the ball only 25% of the playing time, shot five times in the direction of the goal, and twice hit the bar.
